Azkoyen Group will invest 15 million Euros until 2013 for development of new products

The Shareholders' General Meeting of Group, celebrated Azkoyen On June 24 in Peralta's headquarters (Navarre), has endorsed the plan of investments foreseen of up to 15 millions of € until 2013.

The president, Juan Miguel Sucunza, has emphasized that the Group continues working to reinforce his competitive position, to improve his financial situation and to promote his global presence.

The beginning of this new stage completes the plan of restructuring realized in 2010 that will achieve a cost saving of 6,1 millions of € in the divisions of vending and payment systems. The CEO of the company, Eduardo Unzu, has explained to the shareholders the plan of restructuring realized in collaboration with the consulting Price Waterhouse Coopers. In September 2010 there began a project of reorganization of the Group in the frame of the new strategic plan of its three principal business : vending machines,  electronic payment systems and security systems.
Regarding the payment systems division is remarkable the strategic unification of both companies, Azkoyen Medios de Pago and Coges, as a single business unit.
